in the next couple of months, i will have some spare time on my hands. so stay tuned - i'm gonna revamp this sucker.

oddly enough, i think the two best date movies (notwithstanding the obvious Date Movie) are documentaries. i would pick March of the Penguins and Mad Hot Ballroom as the two best films to see with your significant other.

maybe it's because i've grown more realistic in my view of love. or maybe it's because romantic comedies released in recent memory, have simply stunk.

you forgot to mention that rom coms, while entertaining, most don't exactly reflect reality ... screwing most of us with these pie-eyed ideas of ... huh? ... oh time for my meds ... AGAIN?

Nay, nay, nay! The best date movie, bar none, is Braveheart. It's a guy flick, and a girl flick. It's the best of both worlds!

Closer runner up is Jerry Maguire. What? A sports movie that doesn't have William Blake quotes? Forget you, Bull Durham, you're outta here!

Hi.

First, I apologize for spamming your xanga page, but I would really like your help. For an entertainment law course I’m taking, I’m putting together a legal website to serve as a free resource and reference library for emerging filmmakers. To ensure that the information contained on there does actually answer the law-related questions that filmmakers may have (e.g., copyrights, contract negotiating, how to not get exploited in the industry, what your rights you need to actively protect, etc.), I would appreciate it if you could do the following:

Tell me what information YOU would find invaluable on such a website. I don’t care how broad or specific your suggestion is—any suggestion is always better than none. And I will do my absolute best to incorporate your suggestions into the site.

You can click directly to my guestbook to leave your message: http://www.xanga.com/guestbook.aspx?user=delicate_cobra

Finally, thank you so much for your help. There’s definitely a special place in my otherwise cold heartless law-bound heart for independent filmmakers and that’s why I really wanted to create this online tool for them.
